[00:00:00] Hey, this is Sharran Srivatsaa. Welcome back to the Business School Podcast. And in this episode, I’m going to introduce you to this idea of the echo of greatness. Well, what does it really mean? Well, the best ideas may be from the people or the concepts or the books or the conferences. They all exist in some fragmented way in our world.
[00:00:17] There are people that are doing great research. There are people that are doing innovative work and how can we take those ideas and incorporate into our life and into our business with so much ease and use that to build our brand and change the world. And we do that with this idea of the echo of greatness.
[00:00:31] I show you very practically how to install the echo of greatness into your life so that you can have insane profits, so you can have a bigger brand and you can totally change the world. I break it down for you step by step. I’ll starting right now.
[00:00:50] One thing is for certain. Just because it’s tried and true doesn’t mean it’s working right now. So the big question is this, where can you learn [00:01:00] what is working right now? The strategies, the tactics, the psychology, and the exact how to, how to grow your business, how to blow up your personal brand and supercharge your personal growth.
[00:01:12] That is the question. And this podcast will give you the answer. My name is Sharran Srivatsaa and welcome to Business School.
[00:01:25] So if marketing, selling and negotiation are core part of what you do in your life and in your business to move your company forward, to move your skills forward. This episode will be dollar for dollar, pound for pound, probably one of the best episodes that you can listen to because I’m going to talk to you about the echo of greatness.
[00:01:41] Now I came up with this idea of this echo of greatness when I first hired a copywriting coach and so I was not a very good writer. I still have a long ways to go. But I realized that copywriting was a skill and that it was not just about having flowery language or writing with [00:02:00] compassion and compelling the person with the offer.
[00:02:02] I realized that the greatest of greats did a significantly better job and I just did not have the skill. So many years ago, when I hired my first copywriting coach, the first project that he gave me was to go and copy, like actually transcribe, copy word for word, some of the best sales letters ever written.
[00:02:23] The first project that he gave me to do was to take a Rolex ad that was ran, I think in the New York times or the Wall Street Journal, I can’t remember. And it’s a legendary ad and he made me copy it, read it and copy it. And write it by hand, word for word, word for word. And as I started writing and rewriting what the greatest copywriters of Madison Avenue and the the greatest direct response copywriters of our time did, call it the Claude Hopkins, or the Gary Halbert, or all the folks that have so much copywriting skill, I learned that copying their [00:03:00] work was really powerful.
[00:03:01] And I, I started to call it the echo of greatness, right? Because that’s what was the echo of greatness. And in this episode, I’m going to show you how to monetize this echo of greatness. So let’s actually kind of jump right into it. I have three kind of big ideas to share with you. The first big idea is how do you get the best ideas?
[00:03:23] Out from the greatest of greats. So let’s say you like Oprah, or let’s say you like Elon Musk, or let’s say you like, you know, Ray Dalio, or let’s say you like a Paul Trudeau Jones, or let’s say you like Simon Sinek or Seth Godin. Well, all of these people are very different. Now, hopefully I’m, I’m not pulling on too many political strings with any of these, but all of these people are very different.
[00:03:44] They’re polished. They’re thoughtful in a way they’re really successful. So they’ve done something right in their lives. So how do we get the echo of greatness from these people? Well, up until now, this was not possible, and I’m going to show you the exact method that I use to make this possible. And this [00:04:00] echo of greatness method is if I see, let’s just take a Tony Robbins, right?
[00:04:04] If I take. A Tony Robbins interview. I could go on YouTube, find a Tony Robbins interview that I like and say it’s an hour long. Well, YouTube now has, if you click into the buttons, it now has the ability to download the transcript or there’s multiple tools that you can download YouTube transcript for free.
[00:04:20] So it has a full, it’s a fully transcribed, uh, video. I can then take that transcription and put it into AI and say, hey, I want you to deconstruct all the best Q& A, the questions and answers from this video and give it to me in question answer form. So you will see the interviewer asking the question and Tony giving the answer, the interviewer asking the question and Tony giving the answer.
[00:04:44] So you will see the interviewer re transcribed in a question answer form. And once I see that, I then ask the AI again. To reinterpret the data and reanalyze the question answer results and say, Hey, I tell the AI, could you deconstruct [00:05:00] the framework? If there was one that was used to answer a lot of these questions, and if there are similarities, highlight.
[00:05:08] The common frameworks being used now, you may think that this is not fancy, but I will tell you it is insanely powerful because what you’re going to notice is that most of the greats, the Tony Robbins is in the raid alios and the Seth Godin’s and the Simon Sinek’s and all of them who have really great what I call verbal dexterity, they have found a way to speak in frameworks and patterns.
[00:05:31] And they speak in frameworks and patterns, not because that is their speaking style and not because it’s linguistically oriented. What it is, is because they think in patterns and they think in frameworks. What I am trying to figure out is I want to give this interview Or this piece of text, or this essay that Seth Godin wrote, or whatever.
[00:05:49] To artificial intelligence, and I want artificial intelligence to deconstruct the framework from it. Because I may not be able to pierce into the head of a Oprah, or the head of Tony Robbins, or the head of [00:06:00] Seth Godin. And figure out the framework that they have learned through intuition and experience over time.
[00:06:06] If that person is using the same framework over and over again to answer a question or solve a problem or explain a solution, I want to know what that framework is because maybe I can start to use that framework in my own life and in my own business, right? Because that’s what’s super important. That’s what I’ve started doing.
[00:06:23] And so all I would suggest you to do is number one, get a transcript of a podcast interview or A YouTube interview that you like. Number two, put it into AI and ask the AI to deliver to you in question answer breakdown form and third, ask the AI to analyze each of the answers and figure out if there was a framework used to explain these answers or syntax used to explain these answers and see if there’s any commonality around them.
[00:06:49] This is the echo of greatness. We may not be able to see the obvious, but looking behind And actually figuring, figuring out what is non obvious is insanely powerful because [00:07:00] now you now, whether you’re given a tough question or an objection handler, you’re selling something in an appointment, you now have the framework from the greatest of greats, right?
[00:07:07] So that’s kind of like number one overall. Here’s number two. A second way I really like to utilize artificial intelligence is this idea of role playing. Now, most people don’t want to role play because. They’re like, well, you know, I can start role playing my real estate conversations with the AI or I can start role playing my sales conversations with the AI.
[00:07:27] The AI doesn’t know my scripting or Chachapiti doesn’t know the nuances of my market because I sell real estate in New York City because New York City doesn’t have an MLS or I sell real estate in Laguna Beach and there’s too many like, you know, rules here or what have you. It doesn’t matter, right? So how do you actually do it?
[00:07:43] What I’ve noticed is I’ve noticed that the best way to do it is to work on your skills by teaching the algorithm what to do. So the first thing that I would do is let’s say you, that you find a sales training online, and I’ve seen several sales trainings online. Pick a sales training online that you like.
[00:07:59] So [00:08:00] maybe there is a conversion training or a kind of lead response training or a internet leads training or whatever that is online. Let’s say you like that training. What you would do is you would take the transcript from the entire training and you would feed that training into AI and you would tell AI, Hey, listen, learn this training and internalize all the questions and scenarios associated with this.
[00:08:22] Right? Then they know that. Then you can say, Hey, I’m a real estate agent and I sell real estate right here in Orange County, California. I want to get better at calling online leads based on this online lead training. I want to switch to audio mode and voice mode. And let’s have a conversation where I’m calling the lead, but you are going to use and evaluate me based on the tips and strategies from this training.
[00:08:44] Stay close to the tips and strategies from this training. Use the frameworks that are provided in this training and score me and give me ideas on how I can get better with my scripting and my role play based on things in this training. Now the AI is going to say, sounds good, Sharon. Now when you start talking to the AI, [00:09:00] you can start to realize that the AI now has the The skill of an instructor.
[00:09:04] So instead of you having to teach it your stuff, teach it, give it training that you’re learning from, and then use it to teach you. The cooler part is you could also just use, give it the training and then have it come back and teach you one scenario at a time. So you can then say, Hey, I just gave you this training, break up this training into five modules.
[00:09:23] Teach me one module at a time and after each module, let’s do a sample role play to make sure that I got all the details from this module. So now what you end up doing is you take the training that you don’t even have to look at. The AI analyzes the training, the AI builds four or five modules and the AI teaches you what you need to know.
[00:09:42] And then the AI quizzes you to the process. So as you’re maybe driving in your car, you get really, really good at your skills, which you would have never been able to get otherwise. And that is the echo of greatness, right? Because you’re taking the great training, you’re letting AI deconstruct it, and you’re letting it feed it to you in bite [00:10:00] sized fashions where you can learn, and you can train, and you can practice, and you can get live feedback, which you would never get any other time, which is absolutely amazing.
[00:10:09] A quick heads up, if you’re an entrepreneur, business owner, or executive, listen up. If you don’t have a virtual assistant team or offshore team yet, you’re doing it the hard way. Look, I’ve hired, uh, 11 plus virtual assistants just in the last two years, just on Tron brand. And since then, my brand has over five times, 500%, no exaggeration.
[00:10:29] I used to do everything myself or pay bloated US salaries, but hiring offshore has been a total game changer. So here’s the deal. Finding a great VA honestly is not that easy. Vetting, interviewing, onboarding. It’s a lot. That’s why I work with assistantly. They handle all of it. Job descriptions, headhunting, interviews, onboarding, even setting you up for success.
[00:10:49] The whole shebang. You get three to four top tier candidates to choose from super quick, and they don’t stop until you’re set up for success. I work with assistantly. My network works with [00:11:00] assistantly. And if you’re serious about growing and scaling your business, you should work with assistantly too.
[00:11:05] Check them out at hireyourunicorn.com. Hireyourunicorn.com. Let’s get back to the show. And last but not least, let me give you the number three way, the echo of greatness that I see. And it is a chance for you to live and work and learn in a live situation. So let me explain how this would work. I would recommend doing the first two ideas that I suggested with a little AI help.
[00:11:31] But the third one. If you can do this, you will benefit from it greatly. And, uh, my first speaking coach actually taught me to do this in a way. And I adapted it a lot and I want to share with you my adapted version of this. So let’s say you want to become a thought leader in your space. Let’s say you want to make sure you have all the answers for your clients.
[00:11:46] Let’s say you want to make sure you are. Uh, really well, like polished, not scripted, but polished and thoughtful. And you know, first principles thinking, and you know how actually the input output mechanisms are structured. You know, the right data points to say, how do you learn all of these things? [00:12:00] Well, the problem is you can go learn and read and all of that, but the best answers actually come when you’re asked the best questions.
[00:12:08] And the crazy part is you’re not going to be able to manufacture the best questions for yourself. So what I do a lot of times is if I am learning something new, I will go and look at a, um, a video or a podcast that already is interviewing an expert with that thing. So I’ll, I’ll make up a simple example.
[00:12:26] Let’s say I want to learn about real estate investing. And maybe I’m going to be invited on a podcast. Maybe I need to do an interview and I want to be sharp about what’s happening in real estate investing right now. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to look at a couple of important interviews that I see on real estate investing online, maybe on a podcast or a YouTube video, right?
[00:12:44] And I’m going to hit play on this interview. So let’s say somebody is interviewing some big real estate investor, right? Like a BlackRock or something, right? And so I want to hear what they say. So I’m going to see the interviewer, ask the question to the interviewer, might say something like, Hey, so and so, you know, [00:13:00] guest.
[00:13:00] Uh, what do you think is going to happen with interest rates in the next one to two years? And right before the answer happens, I hit pause. You see what I’m doing? I wait for the interviewer to ask the question and right before the guest can answer the question, I hit pause and I answer the question live.
[00:13:17] I answer that question. And I answered the question like I was being interviewed at that time. So if someone were to ask me, Hey Sharan, what do you think would happen, you know, what’s your outlook for the industry in the next one to two years? And what do you think is going to happen in the real estate business?
[00:13:31] I need to have a really good answer for that. I don’t wake up in the morning and, you know, say, I wish somebody asked me this question. I want to know what people are thinking, what people are asking. What interviewers are thinking is what consumers are asking. Because most of their interviewers get their questions from an angle of a piece that they want to write or questions that were written in or comments online or Google Trends report or whatever.
[00:13:52] The interviewers and journalists do a really good job because they want high traction keywords and high traction topics and high [00:14:00] controversial topics to write about and get angles on. And so they come up with these questions and there’s no reason for you to reinvent these questions. Just look at the questions that are already been asked of the guests.
[00:14:09] So here’s the exact process that I do a show, which has like an expert in our field, whatever field I want to learn about, I hear the question. And as soon as the interviewer finishes asking the question, I hit pause and I deliver a re answer almost like a role play. Then I hit unpause and I see what the expert says.
[00:14:26] And then I want to see if there’s anything that the expert said that I like that I can introduce and incorporate into my answer. Then I hit pause again and then I restate my answer if I, if there’s any learning from what the expert said or an angle that the expert used or a data that the expert used and I can reframe my learning.
[00:14:43] for that question. Now I have that question built in because now not only have I been able to answer without hearing an expert, I now have maybe some additional color with an expert in the room, right? And I do that for that entire interview. I will tell you, as soon as I’m done with that, I feel like an expert on the topic because I have now warmed [00:15:00] up.
[00:15:00] I’ve heard the questions that are going to be asked. I’ve kind of like started to build this neural network of all the answers that could potentially be there. So I’ve stated my answer and then I’ve gotten the echo of greatness from the expert who has already provided an answer as well. Like how insanely powerful is that?
[00:15:15] So those are like the three big ideas that I want to give you on the echo of greatness, right? So the first is take the transcript from a great interview, put it into AI and ask it for frameworks on how experts talk about topics because that is truly the echo of greatness. The second idea is to get trainings online when people are teaching something, put it into AI and then say, Hey, Teach this to me in a five module way.
[00:15:38] And after each module, let’s do a quiz about it or let’s do a role play about it. So you can do it for learning a particular subject or learning about your favorite football team or learning about historical thing about something, or if you’re going to get ready for a board call or an interview about a company and you’re applying for a job and you hear the CEO interview, now you can tell AI to teach you the thing from that, right?
[00:15:57] Especially if it’s a sales training, you can then be [00:16:00] taught the thing and then role play back with the eye, which is insanely, insanely powerful. And of course, I gave you the third way overall, which is to find a live interview setting, put yourself in the hot seat. And so when the interviewer asks the question, hit pause, you answer the question, then let the expert answer the question and then incorporate your answers and re role play that for yourself because now you get the echo of greatness from the expert.
[00:16:23] This idea of the echo of greatness should be very prevalent in your life because there’s a lot of people out there that are doing a lot more research on topics that you can’t really get your hands on. They’re taking that research, they’re putting their ideas around it, they’re building frameworks for it, and they’re trying to communicate to it.
[00:16:37] They’re trying to simplify these ideas. Or get angles around it or get new ways to think about it. And if you are an expert in your field, you need to be able to be exposed to all of these. And the only way to be exposed to all of these is to be in the echo of greatness. So I hope you like this idea and I hope this was ultra practical because if you did this once a day for five days a week for like 10 minutes.
[00:16:58] This will make you beyond an expert in your [00:17:00] field because you now literally are walking AI, but just better because you have a insane humanity perspective around it. So that is the echo of greatness. Say, by the way, I don’t know if you like this and this is interesting to you, whether you can use this in your life.
[00:17:12] And a lot of times I use the questions that I’ve been asked. All of you send back into me to build great episodes for you, but I’m sitting here doing this in isolation. So I want to make sure this is helpful to you. So can you please do me a favor? Can you screenshot this and then post it on social and say whether you liked it or what you liked about it or whether I should make more like this so that it’ll give me an idea on what to do and how to prep so that I can make more like this for you.
[00:17:33] So please do me a favor. screenshot this and tag me on social and tell me what you liked it. That way I can make more like this for you. But remember the fastest way to grow your influence is to be in the echo of greatness.
