Here are three game-changing ways to pop that question:
1️⃣ "Hey Steven, can I run something by you?" 🏃
2️⃣ "Steven, working on an idea, could use your advice!" 🧠💡
3️⃣ "If you were in my kicks, Steven, what would you do?" 👟
It's all about co-creating, vibing, and growing together. 🌱✨ So next time you're stuck, just slide in with one of these lines! 😉
Transcript:
Have you ever felt that asking for help could sometimes be embarrassing or just difficult to do? Ever since we were children, we've been conditioned that it was bad to ask for help. We had to get permission to raise our hands. People had to tell us there was no dumb question. That's because no one taught us the right way to ask for help. Let me give you three ways in which you can ask for help easily. The first way you ask a friend, “Hey Steven, can I run something by you”. The 2nd way is you say “Hey Steven, I'm working on this idea. I love your advice” but the 3rd way is say,” Hey Steven if you were in my shoes what would you do”? When you use one of those three ways, it puts a co-creation on the table that allows you to have a great relationship while asking for help. So, it's not that they're asking for help is difficult we've just not been taught how to ask for it so try one of those three ways.
