So what's the best way to connect with the CEO or a VIP or someone that you feel is in a completely different league? The problem is we reach out to people and we say, Can I pick your brain? Can I take you to coffee? Can I buy you lunch? You and I both know that nobody wants to do that. That feels like a difficult ask, and nobody really wants to do that. We need to do something that is interesting for them. We need to do something that seems beneficial for them. I have not seen any better way of doing it than inviting them on a show. If you get to interview somebody now they feel like they're in the spotlight, and you get free consulting out of it, that's what an interview is all about. So if you just started a podcast or a local show or even a one time interview to meet with somebody that is way better than asking if you can pick their brain over a coffee.
