The new focus is entrepreneur-centric. Brokerages should ask: What can we do that agents canât do on their own?
Itâs about partnerships, creating new revenue streams, building networks, and offering unique tools to help agents grow beyond just real estate.
The days when agents relied solely on their brokerage for higher commissions are overânow itâs all about empowerment and innovation.

Companies that claim that they're agent centric are actually not, because they've just evolved to becoming they do what they do overall. And that's this phrase that's been thrown thrown around. If you don't say that you're agent centric, then you're not cool enough. And I think we have a different approach to this overall. We don't subscribe to the idea of being agent centric. We want to be entrepreneur centric, because in the last five to seven years entrepreneurship, but the idea of being your own boss, creating new businesses, creating revenue streams, creating partnerships, creating JVs, building a brand, all of that did not exist 50, 100 years ago when this agent centric model was happening. And because of that, the agent centric model happened because the brokers were receiving significantly higher commission dollars, and they could do more for the agent. Now, with entrepreneurship being so much more approachable, every agent is thinking about their world in a completely different way. Some people want to be media personalities. Some people want to write a book, some people want to create coaching. Some people want to like recruit and build networks. And this entrepreneurship thing is really important. So the idea of being entrepreneur centric is doing one thing, and one thing very well, is, what can the brokerage do that the agent cannot do themselves?
