They aren't 'past' clients; they're very much alive and well!🙌
Maybe 'private clients' suits better? 🤔 Why? It shifts our mindset from transactional 📑 to relational ❤️.
Remember, the way we label and see them defines how we treat them.
🤝 Let's cherish those relationships, not just the deals. Words matter.
🗣️ Expand your world by expanding your vocabulary. 🌍💡
Transcripts;
Stop saying this, Past Clients, I mean, they're not past clients. They're not dead. But maybe there's a better word we could use instead of past clients, maybe private clients. Now I know you must be saying, Sharran, they're not technically my client because I'm not in active contract with them actively working on a real estate transaction with them. Yes, that is true. However, that is the problem because now we have a transaction-based mindset on our past clients. If we actually call them our private clients, we would take care of them better. We would say they are our client, they are private client. So we would take care of them better, not just from a transactional perspective, so that you talk about as a private client, you know that they are in rapport with them, in relationship with them. And you may say well Sharran, That's just words. That's just language. That's just semantics. It's important. The limits of your language are the limits of your world. So try switching the transactional minds and away from past clients. Maybe they are your private clients.
