Salespeople think that scripts make you sell better. Well, of course that makes sense. That's sort of right. When you have a script, you know what to say. You are more confident and you're able to sell more, and when you don't know what to say. But in my opinion, the true reason for having this script is not for you, but itβs for the client. It helps the clients organize their thoughts and helps the clients figure out their options. It helps the clients figure out what to do next. A well-crafted, well written script is not for you and me as salespeople. It's for the client to help them figure out what decision is the best decision for them. Remember, the script is not just for you, the script is for the client.
