🤬 Hold your hate… of course, you have a responsibility to take care of the client. I am just trying to make a point that we should not overlook the person that referred you the deal.

So what is the most important part about getting a referral in your business? Well of course you need to take care of the client. Of course you need to do a good job for them. Of course you need to blow it out of the water and get them a great result. But the most important part about taking a referral on is about the connector. The person that made the referral to you. Our job is to take care of the connector is to be responsive. Take care of the connector is to give the connector updates. And to thank the connector. Thanking the connector is the goose that lays the golden eggs. Thanking the connector is the most important thing. In the last two years I've given over $200 million worth of real estate referrals and most of the time I don't even get a thank you. So that's OK. But if I got to thank you, if I got the update and if I got the connection, it will make me more client and giving out more referrals. The most important job when you get a referral in your business is to take care of the connector.
