So the number one mistake that young real estate investors make is that they confuse being a real estate investor with being a real estate operator meaning just because you invest in real estate doesn't mean you have to go operate that piece of real estate. If you go buy a single family home doesn't mean you have to properly manage that home. If you invest in multifamily doesn't mean you have to go manage and multifamily. Being a real estate investor is a completely different mindset than being a real estate operator and build the investing part of your life and your business based on Are you a real estate investor where you actually invest and let someone else manage it, or are you actually an operator where you manage what you invest in?
