Do you know the #1 reason people don’t like door knocking? Because it’s freaking hot outside. They're gonna slam the door in your face. So you're gonna get rejected. When you want to pre prospect the neighborhood, this is what you do. Number one. We arrived like 15-20 minutes before the appointment. You just walked the neighborhood just to the people right around. So you say hey, I'm sorry to bother you. I'm not here to sell you anything. Immediately, what happens to them? And. There is nothing to reject you for. Hey, my name is Sharran. I'm with Real right here. And we're gonna beach. The reason I'm here is because we're meeting with a couple of homeowners in the neighborhood about listing their home for sale. As we filled out marketing campaigns, I just wanted to ask you one question. What is your favorite part about living here? They're like, oh, that's easy. I can take my dogs out. We like the pool…blah blah blah. Awesome. Thank you so much. And then you turn and walk away, and then you say, oh, by the way when the listing goes live, Would you like me to let you know. They'll say yes. Hey, can I get your cell? Text me when it goes live. That’s how you get their information.
