One of my favorite sales techniques is to use the idea of a sorting question. A sorting question allows you to ask a question of a client with either a or b. So if you're a real estate agent and client walks into your open house, you can say, Hey, did you see the signs? Or did you find this online? And now based on the answer to that, you can go down a completely different path. Or let's say you were talking to a potential buyer, and they say, Hey, would you like to buy a home in Laguna Beach? Are you open to areas outside of Laguna as well, right, that allows them to know and figure out which thing they want to do for another buyer. You can say, Are you looking to buy a home today or buy a home in the next three months? That gives them a chance for timing sorting questions are very powerful because it allows people to pick a path and when they pick a path and choose, they're not just choosing the path, they're almost automatically choosing to work with you. Sorting questions are insanely powerful and find a way to use them in your sales business.
