Do you believe that cold calling is effective? I grew up in the Goldman Sachs boiler room cold calling is effective if you do it the right way. If cold calling is not just effective, it's effective when you don't cold call. This is what I call the middleman frame. Let's say you have someone else call on your behalf. He calls your clients or leads and he says Hi, this is Jimmy calling from Sharran Srivatsaa office Sharan asked me to give you a call because and then Jimmy provides a reason that is called the middleman frame because when you do that the entire focus the pressure is on Jimmy and nothing is on you and the person receiving the call does not want to kill the messenger cold calling is effective. In a lot of ways you shouldn't be making the cold call because that elevates your status. Use the middleman frame use someone else to call on your behalf and watch appointments light up on your calendar.
